Energy Research Center, Partner of MED-SOLAR project implemented a photovoltaic plant in An-Najah Hospital in Nablus, Palestine, which will allow filling the existing gaps of the electricity grids.
The Energy Research Centre (ERC) at An-Najah National University, through the
project Machrek Energy Development- Solar (MED-Solar) which is implemented under
the ENPI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Program (www.enpicbcmed.eu), was
published call of proposals for implementation solar pilot project in the West Bank, the
ERC received as a total three offers from different public institutions.

Energy Research Centre - An-Najah National University (ERC), is currently seeking
interested potential beneficiaries that may be public institutions willing to benefit from
this programme. The programme will provide commercial-scale photovoltaic (PV) solar
systems that would reduce the facility’s dependence on national electricity and fuel
consumption of back-up diesel generators. Considerable cost savings are expected at
