MED-SOLAR will provide commercial-scale photovoltaic (PV) solar systems that would reduce the facility’s dependence on national electricity and fuel consumption of back-up diesel generators.
The Energy Research Center at An Najah National University (ERC), the implementing agency in Palestine, is currently seeking interested potential beneficiaries that may be public institutions willing to benefit from the installation of solar pilot systems in West Bank having capacities of between 50 and 80 kWp. Considerable cost savings are expected at the eligible sites and the experience of the institutions will be publicized in Palestine and the EU partner countries.
A call for beneficiaries is underway; those interested can submit an application form with all necessary listed documentation to ERC before 30th September 2013.
